I can't seem to find a compressor that will fit the space I currently have mine for less then $1100. That will kill most all of the money I have saved. The kore I think about it the less I want to spend, typical huh! My problem is I have built a small lean too shed in a corner tucked between my garage door and a retaining wall. Under it I keep my old protable 5 horsepower 20-gallon Craftsman compressor. it has the wheels removed and is bolted down to keep it from disappearing. It is also on the outside wall from my Breaker box in the house. There is 60ft of 2.5" pipe in place to run my shop on the other end of the house. Free pipe, that's why it is so large! Anyway, The lean too is under my electric meter, probably not kosher, but I've never received a complaint from the power company, so I want to keep it there. This all leads back to the beginning, I can't find anything resembling a real compressor that is fairly affordable and not upright. They won't fit under the meter. I have no real place close to put an upright elsewhere that will not require running a long electric circuit and more pipe. I don't want the compressor in the house or the shop. That's where the frustration is on this subject. Next subject, I have found the truck I would like to buy, 2004 Dakota Clubcab, 4.7, 5 speed, 20,000 miles, has remaining 16,000 miles factory bumper to bumper and 7-70,000 drive train coverage. Truck is exactly what I would want to order for that year truck. 3:55 axles 4X4, tow package, never had a hitch in the receiver, I checked! Bed liner, topside bed rail covers, sliding rear window 60/40 seat, Power windows and locks, heated mirrors and fog lights. Runs like a top. I test drove it for 30+ miles, took it home, drove highway, back roads all the stuff and places my daily travels take me. Anyway, as you can tell I want this truck! Truck seems like a good deal too, asking is $18,995, KellyBluebook.com lists it for $21,900 [that is too high, most trucks that compare are in the $19,500 range with higher mileage around here] Trade value for my truck in excellent condition is $9995. They are offering me $11,000 trade towards my truck and they will pay the $400 in taxes, title and plates. Making it an even $8,000 difference for a 3-year newer truck with 30,000 less miles on it. It's not as family friendly as my Crew cab S-10, but would do in a pinch. we now have the 97 Cherokee sport to do full family needs anyway. My wife is not receptive of this truck at all. She picked her Cherokee by choice as used, it has 60,000 miles on it. Her Altima was again her choice and now has 115,000 miles on it and is running strong. She does not want a new vehicle for herself, but does not want me to have this one either. She says she gets the next new vehicle. She is now saying she will buy something to trade my truck in on if I'm unhappy with it. That will leave us with three daily drivers and she will have picked all three! This is hard for a car guy to handle! I feel a fight brewing :] -- Mark Price markprice242ATadelphia.net Morgantown, WV
