Seeing if I'm still subscribed, or re-subscribed.

If so, yes Ken Ames indeed has a goodly collection, I have seen some, and he
does drive a lot of them at various times.

As for the torque specs for wheels, it's 75 lbs. for steel wheels, 1/2"
studs, and 90 lbs. for alloy wheels due to wider shoulder on lug nuts. Do
not use lug nuts from steel wheels on alloys.

Subject: Wheel torque specs

FWIW, the 69 and 70 tsm's both say 75 as well!
75 is probably a good rule of thumb for steel wheels but it's best to double check for aluminum...

My Eagle Talon, for example, specs 87-105 ftlbs, for it's wheels....

Cheers,
Dave

" site. I will be posting more in the coming months. I will either put a
" 401 in my Concord or a 331 Hemi that I have laying around....eddie

hmmm... different... beats the **** out of a 350/350.

isn't the mopar staggeringly heavy? i may be imagining this, but i
recall reading somewhere that it's about 900 lbs. that's about 300
more than the 401.
