Wasn't the 990-H just the pillarless hardtop model that came on for 1964 and ran through 1967? Those are the only 990-Hs I know of. The Rambler American 440-H didn't debut until 1963 because that's when the hardtop model did. Of course, from 1964-on, the American had a 440 and a 440-H hardtop. But I think the H was market by a 2-bbl carb or something. And the Classic 770-H didn't make it until 1964, too.
