Great job Marc! I added a little note after the "Diplomat" name since
Nash never really made a Diplomat model. The Rambler was going to be the
"Diplomat", but Dodge used the name before the Rambler came out. So
Rambler was a last minute change, used totally by accident! Well, I'd
imagine that Nash had discussed several names for the new car, and
Rambler was likely the second on the list. I also put in the bit about
Rolls Royce being the only other make in 68 to have AC as standard
equipment -- I've got a copy of one of the "unfair comparison" ads that
AMC used mostly for the American compared to foreign cars, mainly the
VW.
I encourage others to look at AMC topics and make additions or even add
them to Wikipedia. That's what it's for, the articles grow as people add
to them. I've updated the AMC V-8 page, and opened a discussion page for
them (where people can add things or ask questions that aren't relevant
to the encyclopedia entry).
