" From: farna@xxxxxxx " " Andrew, could you scan and send me the page with the flange thicknesses, " or make up a chart of years and thickness, disc or drum brakes? alas, no. i relied on the concord public library's copy of the '87 interchange, but they threw it out. you'd think they'd have taken note of who requested it and called me... at one time they had the edition for -every-year- from the '70s to '87, which was the last. " Sounds like I got it backwards, but I got the info from someone else " who mentioned that the DISC spindle had the thicker flange for the " caliper offset. Doesn't sound right, as the caliper adapter is 3/8" " thick itself. Disc spindle flange would seemingly need to be thinner " to keep tread from increasing to much. iirc i observed ~1/2" difference in flange thickness, where they mentioned it. ________________________________________________________________________ Andrew Hay the genius nature internet rambler is to see what all have seen adh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and think what none thought
