What engine? If it was used behind the 2.8L V-6 or 2.5L four don't put it in front of a V-8 unless you plan on babying it all the time. The big problem is the input shaft is to long for the AMC six cylinder, and I don't think long enough for the AMC V-8 bell housing. The only bell it will bolt up to is the AMC six bell, which was also used in Concords and Spirits with the 304 V-8.
