None that I've ever had did Jay, but those were all in 64 or earlier cars. IIRC yours is in an American? It shouldn't need a scoop. That might be something used in Hornets and Gremlins, which had much deeper tranny tunnels. I've never seen nor heard of a scoop though. Just to be clear, I haven't seen or heard of everything AMC has ever done though... just a lot of it! ;>
