There is a special tool, but you should be able to rent that from AutoZone. You usually put down a deposit (basically pay for the tool) then get most of that back when you return it. IAutozone just opened a store here so I checked with them sunday and they quoted me $98 and said they could have it in 3 days. So, I want to try to get the A/C fixed before next summer.
