I can't help by the part number, but all 65 and earlier (maybe 66...) steering wheels use the same splines and will interchange. Same for 66 and later (GM columns then). Pull the horn ring off your Marlin (disconnect horn wire, push in, and twist to the left, should pull right off). Compare the center of your wheel with the new one. If they are the same of course, it will fit. I've had good luck using a quality enamel to paint the steering wheel. Scrub the wheel good with soap and water using a Scotch Brite pad (green). Then wipe it down with paint thinner, being careful not to touch it after wiping. Hang it up by a wire in the center hole then wipe, let dry a few minutes, and spray. Part number is 9745829, can anyone tell me what it is from and if it will fit the Marlin? Will the horn ring fit from the Marlin? Also I will want to change the color, what products are out ther to paint it. As always and help is appreciated. > > > > > > Bargain Bob Petersen > > AMC Car Collector > > _______________________________________________ > Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com > The most personalized portal on the Web! ============================================================= Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist
