1960 Rambler 6 Custom 6015-2 Whitewall Tires

My service manual indicates the tires size for my rambler as 15x6.40 or
optionally 15x6.70.
Can someone tell me what width whitewall tire was the factory original?
It appears that I can get tires with whitewalls anywhere from 1" to 3 5/8".
