I don't think anyone makes a perfect carpet set. Mac McCoy makes his own, and they fit pretty well. I have one of his sets for my wagon. It's cut and sewn though, not molded. Doc's set was molded, and from hearing him I don't think it's worth the extra money -- you'd expect molded to fit right. 

Bear in mind that Doc's just a little bit of a perfectionist here, this is the last time he expects to be able to build a car and wants it as near perfect as possible. No offense meant by that remark Doc, I just think that sums up what you've been doing and why.
