The windshield is the same for convert and hardtop. Side glass should be the same (door glass is), but I'm not positive on the rear quarter glass. It should be the same too though. You can wash any of the eletronics out with clear water. I'd hose 'em off first, then use distilled or purified water as a final rinse. Pull the cover off the reverb unit if it got in the mud. Just don't power anything up until it's dry. I worked at a computer shop in Okinawa way back when part time. Used to stick boards in a dish washer to clean them! The owner put some kind of clear fluid in instead of soap, I believe it was some kind of water softener or "clear rinse" (which they didn't have in 88-89) additive. Worked fine on boards that had been in dusty industrial environments, and never lost one. I've done the same thing to dusty computer equipment since. Anyone that works on old tube radios can likely fix the reverb unit. I had an old mid 60s console stereo once that had one. Kind of neat at first, but gets old fast. You may not want to invest the money. IIRC the main component is a "vibrator" tube, which may be hard to find/expensive. Glad to hear you're getting your money's worth in parts! That 390 cfm carb is perfect for a 232 or 258. ============================================================= Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist
