There was a guy (I was thinking Michigan/Ohio -- somewhere in midwest) that was running a 64 Classic w/287 and a big turbo. It was running around 15 psi in a blow-through configuration. I didn't save pics and the web site it was on is down. I can't recall the name now, but Greg (?) something was working on some GEN-1 V-8 speed parts. He knew the guy with the turbo 64 Classic. Had pics on his site for a while.

There used to be a guy ...I think out on the west coast I thought....working on and actually running a generation 1 engine turbo Rambler. That has been several years ago. I remember getting the Dick Datson newsletter with pictures of it. Is that what you are talking about? Interesting project for sure. The guy who owned it, got really sick.I have never seen mention of it online, but then again, I have not dug that deeply. I'd like to know the details of whatever happened to that project.

Nice to see a Rambler running like that, would have been better with a 327. And yes, a 327 could have pushed the car up there with a turbo. It will take more boost with fewer mods too... and, I must admit, would need a few pounds more boost to get the same results.
