Yeah, I'm sure you lucky guys with bendix discs up front have heard that nice clunk when you go over a bump. The right front on my freshly converted Javelin went clunk right from the start so I took the little support spring out of the assembly and re-arced it a little. Within a few short trips the bugger was clunking again. Now the left front has begun clunking too! Last year it was the suspension squeaking, fixed that with a total rebuild up front. Now if I can just get rid of that annoying clunk from the calipers. Is the best solution to track down some new support springs or should I put a piece of rubber from an inner tube in there to stop it. The brakes are 1000% better than the old discs that's for sure, now if the clunk would be gone I'd be so happy. I get all kinds of positive comments from people about the car. Took it to a car show a while back and people really talked about how long it had been since they saw one. The T5 makes the car so much more fun to drive I can't believe it. Now it has some real pizzaz to it instead of that lugging feeling. It sounds so much better too. I really love the tight feeling of the fresh tranny rebuild and the B&M shifter has zero slop so it shifts absolutely great. Any body have any suggestions for a set of wheels? I still have my old slotted chrome wheels on the car looks a bit dated but still good. I really need a set of new tires too. Thinking of maybe some lower profile tires to at least help drop the front along with the plates that have been on the list lately. The front got new shocks too so it is very solid up there now and feels great. Real slow turning the wheel, need a quick ratio steering box. The wife and I are off to take a short ride around the lake talk with you later VROOOOMM!!!!! Armand
