No reason it shouldn't bolt right in as you surmise. The 232 flywheel will bolt onto the 4.0L, but unless the 232 is 1972 or later it won't be the right diameter. I forget what year wagon you have, but believe it's a Rebel, which means prior to 1972. Just get a 72+ flywheel and all should be fine. You don't need a 4.0L specific flywheel unless you plan on modifying the bell to hold a CPS later. If you go EFI you can always use the balancer mount kit. Should be great with a 390 or 450 cfm 4V on a good intake though.
