Actually, there is a good chance they do still work. Might take a little contact cleaning on the wiring and switches though. There is a chance that the driver's motor is worn out, but should be easy enough to replace or have the motor re-wound. Now the rear window of a station wagon is another story! The motor has a lot more work to do with the larger, heavier piece of glass. The motor I bought works fine with no load, but won't lift the glass. It's just worn out from being overworked so long! I need to get that motor fixed or replaced. I bought it from a person who thought the switch was burned up since it worked when bench tested. I found out different after installing.
