I don't recall if the car in question is a Classic or American, can't get to e-bay from work. If a Classic the AL engine was still available in 63, last year I think. IIRC the only differenec in the oil pump for the aluminum and iron engine is the cover. You should be able to take the cover from an aluminum engine oil pump and bolt onto an iron engine, gaining a full flow filter in the process.
