the only problem with an electric clutch would be weight. It would take more power to turn a heavy electric clutch. The vicous fluid type fan clutches work fine, just replace every 10 years or so. Most people don't think about the fan needing maintenance! You should be able to get fan clutches that "come in" at different temps, but I don't recall seeing temp listed on any. An electric fan and thermostat switch (I use an adjustable) works very well, I don't think the air pressure type switch would work any better. You could have enough air pressure in front of the radiator and still not have adequate flow THROUGH the radiator, at least theoretically.
