Have the Twin-Grip unit swapped. It won't cost $269 to have the gears set in the American -- about $150. That's what it cost me to have a set of gears mounted in my Jag center (Jag gears). Sounds exotic, but it's basically a Dana 44 center section. No special costs or parts involved.
