It's easy to pull the back seat from a Gremlin and mount it in an AMX. This wasn't uncommon in the late 70s when people didn't want to get rid of their two seaters. No head room, so teens may have a problem. But you get a good 10 years out of it. Permanently mount the back with screws from in the trunk. You don't need the pivot brackets. Of course if you're just tired of the AMX and want something different go for the swap.
