Re: Jeep fix-up update

Got a message from Michael. If anyone is looking for parts let him know. I didn't ask engine size, just know it's a mid 70s Jeep so most likely sports a 360.

Guys we had better stand back and take a good look at what is going on with my jeep. I took a couple hours to go over it and found much more damage that I was aware of. The entire side that the bushes have grown up over is falling off the jeep. and one bush is growing up through the motor well. I was mistaken in my assessment that only a fuel line and a couple minor things were wrong with it. It is completely undrivable. I appreciate the amazing willingness of people to help me with this jeep. In fact I was overwhelmed to a great extent, least some of my faith in humanity has been restored. I would never have guessed people would be willing to help a complete stranger work on his jeep. I knew lots of people love these old jeeps, in fact so many it's difficult to see why they weren't brought back in their original form at some point. the FSJ really started the so called SUV craze and remain to this day the best family 4X4 ever made. It would be impossible to get this jeep bac!
k on the road under any circumstances it does have many new and newly rebuilt parts if anyone is interested but I will have to turn down the "Jeep Fest" You guys offering to do this has made me feel like there might be hope for the good guys after all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the fantastic offers of support,
