Nit picking, but in this neck of the woods the order of options I've seen in Americans seems to be Power Steering, A/C then last power Brakes. Seems most people knew you didn't need the power brakes much in such a small car. Power steering was by far the first option found. Although a lot didn't even get that around here.

The hard part is finding one. Americans were the low line, and few were ordered with power brakes, power steering, and AC. Popularity is probably in that order as well! The big car stand-off mount will fit most also, I think it's the same bracket. 58-63 American might use a taller bracket, not positive. I know it's even harder to find a 58-63 American with those three options than a 65-69 model! The last two years are more likely to have them than the earlier ones.

The 1966 parts book shows a power brake booster for
the 01 (American) with LHD. The booster is a
convetional "standoff" type unit mounted on a bracet
extending from the firewall. The booster assembly
carries part no. 3205898. I suggest calling the AMC
vendors and seeing if they have a parts car with this
configuration. Why cobble something together if you
can find the original parts? If you do find one, and
it needs to be rebuilt, there are several companies
which can do that.
