Sounds like you have a good plan. Don't cheap out onthe muffler though, get a good name brand turbo. The no name cheapies seem to fall apart inside after a while and rattle and clang. No fun at all. I think mine has a Dynomax on it. It was about $44 at Advance IIRC.
Of course it has the tail mounted muffler and I have aGlasspack mounted in front of the axle as a resonater. I'm running a 2 1/2" system from a modified 4.0 L H.O. Tube manifold.
  I don't think this big is needed and probably wouldn't bother if doing it over! It likely even hurts low end torque and economy.
