A: If it does it one way, you have a short in one of the front sockets (rear would cause the brake light fuse to blow) Both ways indicates a bad battery to body (not motor) ground. It takes away the power needed for the voltage regulator. Aside from that, a dying alt with poor output can do it (sometimes even just a loose belt) From: Marty Bricker <mbrickerusn@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: Weird turn signal indications To: AMC List <mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx>, northtexasamc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx When I use the turn signal on my 83 SX/4 it causes the voltmeter pointer to cycle in time with the blinker, the lights on the radio dim and brighten and the alt light glows very faintly (only able to see it in the dark). Any idea what may be causing this? Thanks. Marty
