Yes, the alternator or battery could be going bad. But check your connections on the turn signal lights also. Bad or corroded connections will increase the current draw. Especially check all the grounds. Some headlight switches have a separate ground on the dash or firewall, some ground through the headlight grounds. Later cars like yours usually have a ground on the firewall somewhere. A TSM will point out where it should be -- usually.
