Thanks for telling me how to remove it -- that was the next question! I was just going to look at an exploded parts view and find it, but you made it easy. Four cylinder may indeed have a different (lower pressure) valve. The older V-8s ran around 1100 psi and sixes 900 because of the weight difference. Shouldn't be as much weight difference between a four and six as between a six and eight though.
