That's the Firebird, not sure if it was used on the Camaro. Only lasted two years before going to TPI. Called "Cross Fire" injection. IIRC it was a pair of ONE BARREL TBIs. Two of the 300 cfm 1V units as used on the 2.5L four. 600 cfm would be plenty for a 301 or 305 (forget which!) V-8, even a fairly warm one. Might have been 400 cfm 2V units, but I'm pretty sure it was 1V units. I remember a friend having one. They show up on e-bay from time to time, mostly a curiosity now. Brien, the 1V TBI units from 2.5L fours would be great! That would give you 900 cfm!! Block idle air and remove TPS from end units, keep everything on the center. Use rods to activate the end units with a little slack in them so the ends don't open until to go pedal is about 1/4 of the way down. Would be great! The only catch is the 1V unit has a 2.25" hole. Would be hard to find a 3x2 intake you could hog out like that without major mods. But then the 2.8L V6 400 cfm 2V units should fit nicely (1200 cfm -- how much do you need even for 400 cubes??).
