RE: parts

Part QF97 www.yearone.com $250

This is a special fast-ratio gearbox which is rebuilt using late-model
Camaro IROC internals, resulting in 2.5 turns lock-to-lock. The unit has a
4-bolt mounting pattern, a large (13/16") input shaft diameter and flare
seats for both hose connections.

92-95 Grand Cherokees also are reported to use the quick box. The lock to
lock is 3 1/4 turn on those IIRC as they don't have the steering stops built
in like the FireChix box does. The Jeep boxes do use an O-ring pressure
hose. You can get a new hose made or buy an adapter to flare fitting from
half a dozen places including NAPA. Mark Price mpriceAtwestco.net
