Hi the way i removed mine was i used a dremel moto tool i made a slot across the rivet just like you were making it into a screw . I used the dremel cut off wheel arbor and the thin cutting wheel . then i just turned the rivets out like you would take a screw out counter clockwise. They all came out really easy that way and it was a 1972 castiron intake.
