Removing Intake Heat Shield

Todd,

You will need to take a drill bit and drill the head of the rivet off.
Once this is done, the pcv baffle should come right off. I would then
rivet it to the bottom of the Edlebrock intake. If you use the pegs they
give you, put some silicone on them before you drive them into the intake.
This will help hold them in place so they don't work themselves free and
fall into your engine. As for the filler tube, try some heat around the
intake and then wiggle the tube back and fourth. I have a guy here in
town who makes stainless steel filler tube that look real nice if you
would rather go that route.

How do you remove the heat shield from a manifold? Edelbrock says to
remove
the heat shield from the old manifold and put it on theirs, but I can't
figure out how to get it off. I'm also still trying to get the oil fill
tube
off too.
