A: I was surprised, but the VIN code for that truck said 350 and it had the
under intake breather and front fill pipe like an early 283/327, but stroke
was a bit longer. Some of the other rigs the guy had were 348? (409's little
brother) Completely different engine again! (plus, this was in Canada)

I've always been a fan of the small block chevy, and i
can tell u for a fact that the 327 didn't come out
till 62, are u sure he didn't mean a 67 chevy truck,
because i know that even though they had a 350 then
they still had the 327, and i don't think they had a
350 for 62 5-ton trucks either, a truck that big
would've had a 409 most likely.
