Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the following occurs in the SC/Rambler article that appeared in Hemming's Muscle Machines premier issue (October, 2003) "A bad experience with the [V8] Rogues led AMC to re-engineer the compacts' basic structure for 1969. The 343's torque was enough to twist the Rogue's body structure, and broken windshields were commonplace.
