Guys - I suspect that most of you guys, like me, are on ebaymotors.com every single day to scour shop for parts, brochures, whatever. This week a new design as given to the Ebaymotors.com page which I do not like which I do not view as an improvement in the least. It now sorts cars by manufacturer, then model that is most respresented on Ebay. It used to be that a manufacturer's models were just listed in alphabetical order. For Chevy, that means that the list went something like this: Avalanche Biscayne Cavalier Corvair etc. With the new (certainly not improved) design, the models are listed according to which one has the most for sale! So it's something like this: Corvette (579) Camaro (408) Silverado (242) Impala (201) Chevelle (153) Etc. Perhaps Chevy isn't the best example to use with the AMC crowd, but you get my drift. I have complained to Ebay already, telling them that folks who are car shopping do not normally search for cars according to popularity. I have encouraged them to return to the days of simply listing their models in alpha order. I got a nice reply from some guy - it was not automated - saying I had a point. I also asked for a Hudson category, pointing out that if they can freakin' list Peugeot in it's own category, then create an all-Hudson listing, just exists for Nash or AMC. Anyway, I'm thinking that maybe Ebay will make some changes if they hear from enough of us. Best, Justin
