Jock:

Isn't it interesting that you support Randy (who has a long, documented history of abusive language & just plain un-civil behavior) getting a THIRD chance to stay on the list, but at the same time you are not willing to give Frank ONE chance (as part of a team, NOT individually) to moderate the list?

And Frank is not any officer of AMO or AMCRC yet (and the deadline for submitting resumes for Board seats is long past for this year), so he can't effectively run for an AMO office until NEXT year. And desire for an officer position is not the same as actually having any such position, anyway.

And don't you seem to have a terribly negative opinion of Frank's character, to imply that he would use his position as moderator to evict list members who "...might seem to be detrimental to his magazine, AMO or AMCRC?" And wouldn't you think that any such behavior would generate such negative publicity to be a really bad idea? And what kind of people would "...be detrimental to his magazine, AMO or AMCRC" snyway? Particularly as Frank doesn't seem to have exibited any such charaistics in the past?

And what's "Wrong" with someone's stated desire to run for (any) club office, anyway?
Is there anything wrong with a little "fresh blood" in any AMC club management?
