You need a 2WD AW-4 trans. They are common down south, not so common up north and out west. There are a lot of salvage yards around Atlanta that usually have a few in stock -- the AW-4 rarely gives out before an engine, only then when it's been badly abused. The 4.0L headers should fit the Javelin just fine. They aren't "full length" headers if made for an XJ or ZJ. They only drop to just above the lowest point of the oil pan. The pan on a Jeep is 2-3" lower than one on a car, so don't forget to use your 258 oil pan and pickup tube if you swap. If not the pan extends about an inch below the crossmember (though the engine will fit) and has a nasty tendency to catch on things. I used the 4.0L oil pan when I first installed one. Wasn't long before I had a crack in it where it hit the front end alignment lift.
