Glad you liked it that much! I'll try to keep things that way. The only reason I used the Rambler with the Chevy engine is the way the car was constructed. It uses the original front suspension and has been "back halved" like any other unit body (rear tube frame and wheel tubs). The rear tube frame was just welded to the front unit body. The guy who did it is a Chevy man, had done some Chevy IIs and wanted to try something different. It amazed me that the American trunnions didn't phase him a bit, and he commented on the strong looking unit body and front suspension! Even AMC people (most notably those with just 70+ experience, and maybe the 64-69 troublesome trunnions) shy away from them!!! He did minimal cutting and bracing in the front as well. Would be easy to duplicate with a 360 -- except for the over frame rail headers (Chevy II headers). I'd get the Chevy II headers then cut the flange off and weld to an AMC flange.
