O.K. I'm trying to post from a new angle as my web based access through Westco internet seems to have decided that everything coming from the AMC list is SPAM and deletes it befroe I can even look at it. Ain't technology grand! Let's see if this comes through. AMC content, I haven't had time to revisit my American, but just the knowledge that the used untested 91 Wrangler injection system functions is a real moral boost. It sounded real Cool sine it was "uncapped" at the end of the modified 4.0L Header! I couldn't believe it when it fired on the first try! IAC ran the idle up for a couple of seconds thgen came right down to a nice smooth idle. Something I never managed to achieve with the four barrel setup! Next step is to button up the trans and driveshaft, followed by installing front braided front brake hoses, finally wirng in the Hornet tilt column. I wired the Power Distribution box from the Wrangler with two new relay circuits. One for high beams and one for low beam headlamps and the Halogen lamps seem much brighter then before. I just realized I never thought to check the P/S operation. I used the Wrangler pump with a Cherokee resevoir, Wrangler puts out less presure then a Cherokee XJ box. This is feeding a 73 Hornet box that is 3 1/4" turns lock to lock. I used a 96 Grand cherokee highpresure hose that I cut the O-ring end off of and double flared to work on the Hornet box. I didn't see any drips after starting it, So I'm thinking it must be working O.K. Enough for now. Hope this works and I can post again!
