Need help from all 70-81 AMC owners!

My current project is a total decipher of all the trim codes. I'll make all this data available when done. I've got enough data on earlier cars and, believe it or not, later ones. But I have this 10 year gap of reliable data from 70-81! I have the "car number data books" on the market now, but found a lot of obvious errors and very little decoding of trim numbers.

What I need is:
Trim number
car year and model (Javelin, Concord, Concord DL, Pacer, etc.)
primary color of interior (mainly seats)
type of front seat (high back bucket, bucket -- reclining or not, individual seats [the really wide "buckets" that touch in the center], bench, etc.)

I especially need Concord and Spirit numbers -- as much the plain cars as fancier models. If you have parts cars or know of some in junkyards and only part of the data that would be good too.

While I'm at this data collecting, how about sending the body number and final assembly number (the one on the bottom of the door tag without a title). If you know for sure where your car was built that would help -- might be on the sticker on the door if it's legible/still there. If you do have that sticker, send the date built also. That will help later figuring out about when another car was built.

I don't think anyone has ever attempted a project like this. I posted this on the AMC Forum as well, so maybe I'll get enough data to work with! A little over a year ago I collected info from readers. That info helped to figure earlier numbers out by providing verification of the data I had.

The few 70+ numbers I collected also verified that the data books are unreliable! For one thing they have the 79 numbers the same as 80, but the trim number format didn't change until the 1980 model year. There are some errors in the VINs, but few. Same goes with early model serial numbers. There are a lot of errors in the model numbers. Some of the examples are wrong as well. I had noticed an error or two when I first looked at those books, one reason I didn't buy them. A friend sent me copies of the AMC pages for this project.
