It's a bit early for that for anything AMC. I suggest that everyone get their event registered at Hemmings.com under "Events"... and anyone can go to this as the the great clearinghouse of automotive events. And then the info can be searched repeatedly thru the year for updates, etc. We have regional events listings it seems but there is no set rules or deadlines. Mark Montoni, Richard Estermyer, and John Rosa were trying to do this and Mark used to post a nice listing of events periodically but he caught so much hell in doing so he probably let it die. Last year I gathered some info from Richard and John and other web sites and listings and posted a list on our Classic AMC Club of Portland web pages. Of course everyone had the opportunity to look at it as every message I posted for a long time had a hotlink for that page. Nobody seemed to know about it though until I reminded them after they bitched about not having one on the AMC List. I can probably dig one up sometime but it won't be within this month. God only knows when such info will be forthcoming from anyone else. Here's the web page for Himmings listing for automotive events. We might as well make good use of that, huh? http://www.hemmings.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/events.main If anyone has a better idea, speak up... _____________________________________________________________________ Ralph Ausmann - Hillsboro, OR - > http://mysite.verizon.net/res79g4m/ Classic AMX Club of Portland - http://clubs.hemmings.com/classicamx ----previous message--------- Subject: Club events and other AMC dates From: "Nick P Alfano" <nick.alfano@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sun, 2 Jan 2005 10:13:52 -0600 I am still in need of a comprehensive list of club and other AMC related events for 2005. I received a few responses but no where near what has been posted on the list in the past. Is Mark M. still on the list? I think he used to maintain a list of events somewhere. Looking for the event name, date and location. Please copy me directly in your response so I can keep a record of it. Thanks and Happy New Year, Nick Alfano
