THen why not just come out and say that you have
more, and are willing to sell them to the 2nd bidder
at his last bid price? The impression I got from
John's email was that the 1st bidder reneged...that
sets off alarm bells in my head, ESPECIALLY after only
a 4-hour period when the auction ended? If that's not
the case, then maybe I would be over-reacting, but if
you do have more, you should state that you do, not
that the first guy backed out. IN any case, I'd
probably wait until he relisted, anyway. Or offer a
lower price, at least, as some suggested. Knowing what
I know NOW, after this email thread, I'd offer the
lower price, and then ask if the seller says No, to
contact me when he's relisting, or ask if he's going
to relist any more for sale. Glad to see other AMC
Ebayers know about him, that helps, but I just don't
feel good about the way the "2nd chance" thing is
being offered. Maybe it is on the up-and-up, but call
me paranoid. LOL. I'd be more cautious myself.
So, I've never heard of this Second Chance thing,
it's an honest Ebay policy? I'll have to go look at
the FAQ...never heard of it before, because I've never
run into it, I guess. Always learning something from
the Internet ( and AMCers...),
