t14 shaft lengths are all the same, ~2" shorter than the t96. '68-'74
is the same coarse bw spline; '72-6 is the fine tf904 spline. rear
mount also moved around in the '70s. some are 'close ratio' with
gears that closely match t96 ratios; some are 'wide ratio' with a
~3.1:1 1st. i don't know of any rule for which cars got which.

if you want a bolt-in job, you'll want a non-big-nut rear. then, the
driveshaft from a '68-'70 american or javelin with 232 would be the
right length for an early bw-spline t14 - that's what they came with].
or a non-big-nut american driveshaft with the longer, 1" cap early-mid
'70s yoke. this is how i redid my '68 199, with my original
driveshaft and parts and information from homer browning.

you could just have your driveshaft lengthened, and the correct front
yoke put on if you're using a late t14. performance shops do this
kind of thing all the time.
