[AMC-list] Fw: 58 Rambler Custom 6 engine rebuild or replace question

Harold is considering rebuilding his engine in his Rambler or going to more modern AMC engien/trans setup. Anyone have advise or suggestions please feel free to comment and thanks in advance to all who might, be sure to copy your reply to Harold also.

                  Hey Eddie, I need some help. I think I'm going to have to rebuild My engine in MY 58 Rambler Custom 6. Do You know where I can find a rebuild kit? I looked on Ebay and saw they want 1300.00 for one. I can't believe that's correct. Also if I changed My engine with another one, do You know what would fit? Mine is a 196 cu.in.
