" How'd the truck weatherstrip work?
very well. made my car un-drafty enough for the heater to actually
cope with frosty pre-dawn new england january.
btw i live near a river, and i learned not to turn the defroster on
until i'd
a. warmed the car up
b. climbed out of the valley
because if i didn't wait it'd just frost up the inside of my
windshield before i'd gone a block. but 1/4mi away there was no
problem. the transition was abrupt and startling.
" Just pull the windlace off and replace it with the truck stuff?
in my case the windlace was already gone, but essentially yes.
frank mentioned jc whitney - that's where i got it. one 25' roll did
my 2dr with a good bit left over. it took something like 9'/dr.
" And the weatherstrip?
can't help you there.
" Trying to decide between pretty stuff from a Rambler place, or
" inexpensive stuff as my wallet has melted and is nowhere to be found.
