Actually, the way that IRS mounts under the car it would be a good bit of work to install in something else. It uses coil springs on the lower control arms with seats made into the body, IIRC. I've looked at quite a few IRS rear axle setups -- there's a reason hot rodders just use Jag or Corvette axles! Just need a cross member and a couple lower control arms (more for the newer ones -- pre 87 Jag, not sure what year 'vette). ------------ Date: Mon, 7 Jul 2008 17:46:53 -0700 (PDT) From: Greg Taylor <amundaza@xxxxxxxxx> You could also go killer with an 8.8" IRS from a T-bird, Mark VIII or Mustang Cobra! -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AMC.html (free download available!) _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
