The chips are NOT paint. They are photo copies of paint and as so can vary greatly from the actual color. I did a 300Z for a guy years ago and he picked the color from a chip. It was supposed to be a light blue metallic. When they mixed and sprayed it, well it ended up being a light blue with a lavendar cast to hit. Not what the guy wanted, but the owner decided it was a pretty cool color afterall. Thankfully I did not have to eat the paint and spray costs as I had subbed out the spray job.... Be careful with chips. Know the color.
