You can call around, some shops will color match with a gun that samples the paint on the car.
It can be hit and miss, mostly miss.
With a car that old you would need a bonafide paint guru to get an exact match.
Your shooting for respectable is the best most of us can do.

Just getting paint instead of rust is an improvement!
