You're right! I didn't think about using flat top pistons to lower compression. The compression on the OHV was 8.7:1. The dome is pretty hefty -- it takes up about 1/3 of the wdge shaped combustion chamber in the head. I bet compression would drop to around 7:1, so it would be great for boost provided the wedge chamber design isn't a problem.

I don't recall now if it was a flathead or OHV -- I think the flathead.

Finding pistons for the OHV would be difficult because of the unique 
offset dome.

 If the Stock Pistons are 'Dome' - the flat top 'Turbo' Pistons 
will work well - bore and wrist pin heigth will take some research to keep costs down - but staarting with a Forged Factory Crank and Factory Rods puts you ahead of the game.
