I couldn't believe it at first either! It was just after my camera phone died on me or I would've taken a pic. The ring still had the starter attached to it and the trans was absolutely BOP! As for not using a BOP trans with the earlier Buick motors, it didn't make sense to run a different 4x4 trans and GM was using those 2wd ones in their cars.
