Tom, A few years back when I did my initial install of my 4.0L with a carb I had to wire up a Holley street pump for fuel duty in the American. At the time I wanted to make sure I killed the fuel pump in event of an accident. I think it is a Holley item, I know I bought it thru Summit. They sold a 3 pole oil pressure switch. Center pole triggered the light, the outer two were to kill the fuel pump in event of oil presure loss such as when the engine died during an accident. The outer two poles I disscontinued using when I efi'd it. The switch has been in place for at least 7 years, doesn't leak and wasn't that expensive. You might want to look to see if it is still available. If that one can't be found I'd look for some idiot light equipped XJ's and Wranglers. The SE and base models had lights, you can probably get one new from Chrysler. I'd hope they are built better than the crap you've been getting. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
