The switch has been in place for at least 7 years, doesn't leak and wasn't that expensive. You might want to look to see if it is still available. If that one can't be found I'd look for some idiot light equipped XJ's and Wranglers. The SE and base models had lights, you can probably get one new from Chrysler. I'd hope they are built better than the crap you've been getting. Beat ya to it! :-) That's what's in the Hornet now, one of those three-legged jobs. It's NFG now also. Dash light never comes on. Pulling the wire off the sender and grounding it to the block does.
